Engagement Party Invitation Templates
An engagement invitation is warmer in tone than a wedding invitation and usually shorter - the news itself is the headline. These designs put the couple's names at the top of the visual hierarchy and keep the venue line quiet underneath.
Pick the bouquet or wreath design for an evening party at home, or the ink band and taupe layouts if the celebration is more formal. Each one prints as a 5×7 card and works in black and white if you are printing at a local shop.

Common questions
How far in advance do engagement invitations go out?
Three to four weeks before the party is enough for most guest lists. If relatives are flying in, give them six weeks so flights stay affordable.
Who is named as the host on an engagement invitation?
Whoever is hosting - traditionally the bride's family, though couples increasingly host themselves. If both families are hosting together, a simple opening line such as "Together with their families" covers it without listing every name.
Should the wedding date be mentioned?
Only if it is already fixed and you want guests to hold it. Otherwise leave it off; an engagement party invitation that promises a date you later change causes more confusion than it saves.
